The company IDEAL was founded in 1945 and is located in Gmunden. 

Right from the beginning IDEAL was a pioneer in producing of refrigerated equipment. Since the early 80's we specialised in producing refrigerated equipment made of stainless steel. So today we produce on 7.900 m² units for bars, kitchens, self-service restaurants, bakeries etc. These units can all be made upon customer requirements. 

Because of the expansion of our company there is no more space left since 1998. Because of that we founded our daughter company AKE (Ausseer Kälte und Edelstahltechnik). So we had to source out our serial production (refrigerated wells, display cases, glass tops, heated display cases and combination display cases) to the new location. At the moment there are 160 employees in both companies. 

We now have good cooperations with 14 European countries as well as with the USA and the Middle East.
